| Lot No. BR90258 SWEATERS, WOOL, TURTLE NECK, O.D. “BUZZ RICKSON KNITTING MILLS” 1930年代、米陸軍は冬季用の防寒対策としてジャケットやコートの下に着用するセーターを採用した。このセーターは1933年4月17日に誕生した、スペックNo. 8-97に従って製作されたタートルネックのセーターである。同時期に製作されたVネックと身頃の仕様は同じで、タートルネックが初期型でVネックが後期型となる。前身頃と後ろ身頃は縦の編み目で、運動量と負荷の掛かりやすい肩と裾は横の編み目に変わっており、海軍のレザージャケットG-1の裾リブに見られるような『リブラック編み』の仕様。ネックは好みの長さに応じて折って着用できる。 In the 1930s, the U.S. Army adopted sweaters worn under jackets and coats as winter protection. This sweater was born on April 17, 1933, and is a turtleneck sweater produced under spec No. 8-97. The specifications of the V-neck and bodice, which were made at the same time, are the same: the turtleneck is an early model and the V-neck is a late model. The front and back bodices have vertical knitting, while the shoulders and hems on which momentum is easily applied have been replaced with horizontal knitting, and it is a "ribbing" spec as seen in the hem rib of the Navy G-1 leather jacket.
